OUR SELECTION PROCESS
Safety & Compliance
All nannies must pass strict safeguarding checks, including a DBS, verified right to work in the UK, and a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate. We also complete detailed reference checks with previous employers to ensure full confidence in each candidate.
Our Vetting Process
At Nanara, every nanny is carefully reviewed for experience, consistency, and genuine commitment to childcare. We assess career history, qualifications, and long-term placements, followed by a structured interview to understand communication style, professionalism, and suitability.
Deeper Assessment
We go beyond qualifications to understand how each nanny will fit within a home. Through scenario-based interviews, we assess judgement, emotional intelligence, and approach under pressure, alongside temperament and values for compatibility.
