1. Scope of Services
Nanara is a nanny recruitment and placement agency supporting families and childcare professionals across London. Our role is to facilitate introductions between families and carefully selected nannies for potential placements.
Nanara does not employ nannies on behalf of families unless explicitly agreed in writing. Any employment relationship entered into is solely between the family and the nanny.
2. Applications & Acceptance
All families and nannies must complete an application process.
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, placement, or introduction. Nanara reserves the right to accept, decline, pause, or discontinue a process where we believe suitability or professional standards are not being met.
3. Vetting & Standards
All nannies represented by Nanara undergo a careful review process which may include:
CV and experience review
Interviews
Professional reference checks
Enhanced DBS verification
Paediatric First Aid certification
Right to work checks
Alongside qualifications and experience, we consider professionalism, reliability, communication style, and suitability within a family home.
4. Employment Responsibility
Nanara acts solely as an introduction and placement service.
Families remain fully responsible for:
Employment contracts
Payroll, tax, pension, and legal obligations
Day-to-day supervision and management
Any employment relationship exists solely between the family and the nanny.
5. Fees & Payments
Any placement fees, retainers, trial fees, or additional charges will be communicated separately and agreed in writing before services commence.
Unless otherwise stated, fees paid to Nanara are non-refundable.
Nanara reserves the right to amend pricing or service structures at any time.
6. Privacy & Data Protection
Any personal information shared with Nanara will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.
By using our website or services, you consent to the collection and use of your information for recruitment, placement, and communication purposes.
7. Limitation of Liability
While Nanara provides services with care and professional judgement, we cannot guarantee compatibility, placement longevity, or specific household outcomes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nanara shall not be liable for disputes, losses, or outcomes arising after an introduction or placement has been made.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our services or website at any time where we believe these Terms have been breached or where misuse has occurred.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Changes to These Terms
Nanara reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website or services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
